Counsellor for High Achieving Students

We are seeking a part-time School Counsellor to join our team at The Latymer School, an oversubscribed high-achieving grammar school in North London. As a counsellor, you will work with highly motivated and intellectually curious students, providing guidance and advice to parents, carers, and the school.
The successful candidate will be confident in identifying safeguarding matters and experienced in providing support to students. This role is offered on a part-time basis at 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) at 39 weeks (term time only).
The school offers a supportive working environment with training opportunities, a range of well-being activities, and facilities including good transport links, free parking, a cycle to work scheme, use of the fitness suite, and even massages by a qualified masseuse.

Key responsibilities include:
- Providing one-to-one counselling sessions to students
- Identifying and addressing safeguarding concerns
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to provide support to students
Required qualifications and experience include a degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of experience in psychotherapy.
Salary: £11,563 - £12,271 per annum, pro rata.
