Job Title: Senior Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Manager to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a Senior Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design management process for our electrical systems, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design management process for electrical systems, including the development of design briefs, tender documents, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that design solutions meet the needs of our clients.
  • Develop and implement design management processes and procedures to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure that all design solutions are compliant with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including the development of technical specifications, drawings, and models.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide technical guidance to project teams.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in design management, with a focus on electrical systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including design principles, materials, and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Proficiency in design software, including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
