**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a talented Graduate Materials Engineer to join our team in Kingston Upon Thames. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for selecting materials for various oil and gas applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the selection of appropriate materials for different oil and gas applications.
  • Conduct failure analysis investigations to determine the root cause of material failures.
  • Support the development and implementation of corrosion management strategies to enhance equipment longevity and reliability.
  • Participate in quality control processes, including material testing, inspection, and certification.
  • Contribute to R&D projects aimed at improving material performance and developing new metallurgical solutions.
  • Provide technical support to engineering teams, project managers, and clients regarding metallurgical issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy from a top UK university.
  • Good understanding of metallurgical principles and their application in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proficiency in using metallurgical analysis tools and software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of corrosion and failure analysis.
  • Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.
