Laboratory Operations Manager

CK Group, a leading provider of clinical development services, is seeking an experienced Laboratory Operations Manager to join their team in East London. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity.

About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of laboratory operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and implementing systems and processes to ensure operational efficiencies and data integrity.
- Providing project, operational management, and quality guidance.
- Line management of the Lab Ops Team Leaders, Research Assistants, and Scientists.
- Managing time effectively to meet competing demands, ensuring work is prioritized and delivered on time.
- Being involved in recruitment and supporting Leaders in managing flexible resource requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant scientific field and experience working in a pharma/clinical environment. They must have line management experience and be proficient in resource and people management. The ability to motivate staff, make key decisions, and collaborate with strategic partners is essential.
