Laboratory Operations Manager

The Laboratory Operations Manager will be responsible for the operational management of the UCL Eastman Dental Institute's laboratory facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain good working relationships with the Royal Institution management and UCL staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Oversee the maintenance of laboratory equipment, supplies, and facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement a risk management strategy to minimize potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage a booking system for laboratory spaces, facilities, and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing downtime.
- Provide operational training and support to undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and academic staff.
- Maintain good working relationships with equipment and consumables suppliers and contractors, ensuring timely maintenance and resolution of equipment failures.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory operations, facilities management, or a related field, and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
