About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Estimator to join our team at AVRS, a Galliford Try business. As an E&I Estimator, you will be responsible for providing project estimates for electrical & instrumentation works nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review tender information and provide project estimates for electrical & instrumentation works nationwide.
  • Undertake site visits and carry out take offs of required materials.
  • Negotiate cost and submit take offs to suppliers to provide prices.
  • Ensure each tender is completed in line with expectations.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders & management.
  • Have thorough knowledge of and compliance with relevant Engineering procedures and standards.
About You
  • A background in Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Degree Qualified with suitable experience.
  • Ability to think clearly and demonstrate rational behind proposals.
  • Ability to negotiate.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and application of Electrical Principles.
  • Use a variety of media in the development and documentation of tender submission.
  • Actively demonstrate initiative and able to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines efficiently.
