About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Estimator to join our team at Galliford Try. As an E&I Estimator, you will be responsible for providing project estimates for electrical & instrumentation works nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive tender information from clients and review project requirements.
- Carry out take-offs of required materials and negotiate costs with suppliers.
- Undertake site visits to assess project requirements and ensure compliance with relevant legislations and standards.
- Submit quotes and estimates to clients within the Water & Nuclear sectors.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and management.
- Seek and complete continuing professional development (CPD) in accordance with the requirements of the relevant professional institution.
- Comply with relevant Engineering procedures and standards.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a background in Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineering, a degree qualification, and suitable experience. You will also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to think clearly and demonstrate rational behind proposals, and the ability to negotiate.
