Job Description
This is a full-time, 37-hour per week position that involves managing day-to-day activities of the team to support the management team in improving key performance and standards within the Rowley Regis CSWT.
You will be actively involved in service delivery, ensuring it aligns with the developing focus of Adult Social Care in Sandwell and supporting change and transformation.
Your responsibilities will include implementing relevant policies and procedures as required, covering or deputising for Team Managers within Adult Social Care, and holding budget responsibility at an agreed approval level.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Adults Services within the UK working as a Social Worker
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory framework and Government initiatives relating to service area, including safeguarding, and the needs of vulnerable adults
- An Enhanced DBS with Children's and Adults Barring List Check
