Job Title: Part Time Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Part Time Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Barford Day Nursery and Preschool.

About the Role

As a Part Time Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging activities tailored to each child's needs, promoting their development towards key milestones. You will also develop and maintain strong parent/carer partnerships, ensuring child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality educational programs for children aged [insert age range]
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements
