Job Title: Education Support Specialist

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Support Specialist to join our secondary school in Ellesmere Port. As an Assistant SENCO, you will play a vital role in supporting students, parents, and teachers to ensure seamless communication and support.

This is a long-term position starting immediately, with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on our students' education. Our ideal candidate will have 10 years of relevant experience in education or employment, and possess a fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with students, parents, and teachers to provide effective support and communication.
  • Administering applications efficiently, providing accurate and timely results.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with external agencies, promoting collaborative working practices.
  • Closely monitoring attendance and progression, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • A comprehensive CV highlighting 10 years of relevant experience in education or employment.
  • Proof of Right to Work (Passport or Birth Certificate).

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
