Job Title: Education Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our school community as an Education Support Assistant. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the educational development of Reception pupils in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teaching staff in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons tailored to meet the needs of young learners.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and academic growth through targeted interventions and activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for all pupils.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

What We Offer:

This is a part-time position (7 hours per week) working on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons, offering a competitive daily rate of £83.00.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with younger children and a dedication to their education and well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A high level of initiative and flexibility, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Relevant experience working with children in a school setting or similar environment.
  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service certificate, with registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in education in Wales.
