Job role: Business Development Associate (France)

A leading market consultancy is seeking a French-speaking Business Development Associate to join their International Market Expansion practice in London. The ideal candidate will have a STEM or Business/Management degree and a deep interest in Asia, with experience of living in Japan, South Korea, India, or China highly desirable.

The role involves working closely with the senior business development team to discover, engage, and convert new clients to help them expand into Asia. This includes researching and identifying high-growth potential companies, engaging prospective clients through emails, calls, meetings, and trade show visits, and supporting the global team across Europe, North America, and Asia.

The successful candidate will be a fluent French speaker with excellent writing skills, fluent English, and a university degree in STEM sciences or Business/Management. They will also have an interest in Sales and Marketing and the ability to speak Japanese, Korean, Hindi, or Mandarin is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify high-growth potential companies in Asia
  • Engage prospective clients through emails, calls, meetings, and trade show visits
  • Support the global team across Europe, North America, and Asia
  • Travel to France (potentially 1 week per month) and have the opportunity to travel within Europe and on occasion to Asia
