Your Role
As a Trainee Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our fibre coordinators, shadowing their role to gain valuable experience and knowledge. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with the planning and scheduling of telecoms works, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Updating trackers and other IT systems on a daily basis, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Learning the Streetworks process, understanding the requirements of a works instruction/job pack.
- Participating in meetings with clients to understand job priorities and requirements.
- Collecting information from site and reporting on timesheets and invoices, ensuring timely and accurate financial management.
- Collaborating with the wider team to resolve delays and disruptions to the program, ensuring project success.
- Working closely with both office and field staff, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
- Developing a strong understanding of the workstack and prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Creating and updating SLDs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Performing other administrative duties as required, supporting the team in achieving project goals.
Requirements
- No prior experience is required, but a keen aptitude to learn and adapt to new situations is essential.
- Effective and clear communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for success in this role.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
- Competent use of Microsoft Office packages, with a strong understanding of IT systems and software.
