Tesco Partners is seeking an experienced Analytics Capabilities Lead to join our team. As a key member of the Analytics Capabilities team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering self-serve analytics strategies, user behavioural data tracking, and optimisation capability.

About the Role
  • Manage and empower a team of data analysts.
  • Collaborate with the business and analytics community addressing data analysis and automation questions.
  • Write code supporting the development of big data-oriented solutions solving complete data integration or analytic use cases with the production-ready precision.
  • Support product managers, the data product team, and data scientists in exploring the quality and availability of existing data, discovering new data sources, driving exploration of unknown sources, and evaluating their central ingestion.
  • Maintain the data quality and reliability monitoring of accessed single source of truth data.

Key Requirements:

  • Comfort using Hadoop, Teradata, and manipulating large data sets.
  • Python programming skills, including data exploration and manipulation, pandas, plotting, dashboard building, potential to learn ETL production code, and scheduling.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Data structures and database understanding.
  • Bachelor of Math, Science, or relevant experience.
