Pressure Equipment Inspector

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a skilled Pre-Commissioning Engineer to cover client sites in the Yorkshire area. As a Pre-Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for providing pre-commissioning inspection services for pressure equipment and dangerous goods tanks.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct pre-commissioning inspections of new or repaired/modified construction pressure equipment and dangerous goods tanks.
- Ensure compliance with the pressure equipment directive and carriage of dangerous goods (CDG or ADR Regulations).
- Collaborate with clients to identify and address any issues related to pressure equipment and dangerous goods tanks.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure that their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Level 4 Engineering Qualification.
- Practical experience alongside an understanding of the pressure equipment directive.
- Understanding of carriage of dangerous goods (CDG or ADR Regulations).
- Experience of inspecting pressure equipment and dangerous goods tanks within a manufacturing, pharma, nuclear, shipping or other relevant environment.
- Knowledge of welding processes and procedures, weld inspections, and weld defects.
