Key Responsibilities

  • Lead research and analysis of the global LNG market, focusing on emerging trade flows, shipping market dynamics, supply-demand fundamentals, policy impacts, and other price drivers.
  • Grow Vortexa's LNG and natural gas market coverage, developing new reports and content.
  • Present market data and views to clients through presentations, webinars, and conferences.
  • Connect with media organizations to share Vortexa's unique market insights.
  • Analyze and explain LNG price movements and differentials across various regions.
  • Develop models to forecast LNG supply, demand, and trade flows.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to enhance predictive capabilities using historical and real-time data.
  • Contribute to the company's thought leadership initiatives by producing blog posts, whitepapers, and updates on LNG market trends and developments.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in LNG market research and analysis.
  • Proven market analytical skills and a deep understanding of LNG and natural gas market fundamentals.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex insights to diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as economics, finance, or engineering.
  • Excellent technical skills using Excel.
