Job Title: Quality Manager

Brief Description of the role:
All qualifying candidates will receive a full and detailed job description.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and be accountable for the implementation of the site quality management system on site ensuring the safety, legality and quality of the product in line with statutory and customer requirements.
- Manage and support the QA team, working closely with all departments to ensure requirements are fully understood throughout the factory and assist the operations team in meeting them.
- Ensure the site HACCP plan is maintained and communicated throughout the business.
- Ensure the QA Team is trained, fully understanding and compliant with the site food safety policies and procedures.
- Working with the Head of Technical to develop and monitor department KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Overseeing the collation, auditing and archiving of production process paperwork.
- Take ownership of the management of Quality Contracts, Quality Attribute Sheets and factory specifications.
- Carry out post hygiene audits.
- Complete third-party audits.
- Be a key member of the site TACCP and VACCP teams.
About You:
- Ideally, a degree qualified in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Knowledge of Technical Systems.
- HACCP training.
- Food hygiene training.
- Internal auditor training.
- Food manufacturing-related experience in high care environment ideal.
