We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nursing Associate to join our Neuro Rehabilitation Ward at the Wellington Hospital in London. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to provide world-class healthcare.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nursing Associate to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in neuro rehabilitation nursing. You will work closely with our experienced nursing team to provide high-quality care to patients with complex neurological conditions, including those with spinal cord injuries, stroke, and brain injuries.
As a Registered Nursing Associate, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing hands-on care to patients. You will also work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide hands-on care to patients, including wound care, medication administration, and mobility assistance
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the hospital's mission to provide world-class healthcare
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Nursing Associate NMC Registration Pin
- Completion of Level 5 Nursing Associate Foundation Degree or equivalent
- Significant years of hospital experience in a Qualified Nursing Associate role
- Exposure to patients from either neuro, rehabilitation, medical, or critical care settings
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare providers
- Knowledge of when to seek advice and refer to a registered care professional
- Good interpersonal skills, including a polite, friendly, and courteous manner
- Ability to work effectively as a team player under appropriate supervision, and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
