At Tudor Employment Agency, we are seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team at our Burton-upon-Trent facility. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring that both day and night shifts run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance, support, and supervision to Support Workers and Waking Night Support Workers.
  • Shift Management: Lead shifts, ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are completed effectively and efficiently.
  • Nurturing Support: Build positive relationships with children, providing emotional and practical support and creating an environment where our children feel safe and loved.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the training and ongoing development of staff, promoting best practices in child care and support.
  • Support and Reassurance: Provide emotional and practical support to children who may wake up during the night, addressing any concerns or anxieties.
  • Making Memories: Provide our children with opportunities and experiences to make happy memories.
Qualifications and Skills

A minimum of previous experience working with children and young people in a similar setting is essential for this role.

We are looking for individuals with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to engage with children, and work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals.

The salary for this position is approximately £28,000 per annum.
