We are seeking an accomplished Taxation Legislation Administrator to join our team in North London. As a key member of our revenues team, you will be responsible for administering local taxation legislation and providing expert advice to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Legislation Administration: Utilize NEC and I@W processing systems proficiently to ensure accurate administration of local taxation legislation.
  2. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
  3. Payment Plans: Negotiate payment plans for outstanding tax debts and identify opportunities for vulnerable customers to receive support.
  4. Liaison: Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolve any issues promptly.
  5. Investigation: Investigate and respond to member inquiries and complaints within established deadlines.
  6. Communication: Process incoming communications via phone, email, and correspondence, meeting set targets and deadlines.
  7. Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a revenues team, ideally in billing.
  • Proven expertise in NEC and I@W processing systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
