Job Title: Senior Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Dee View Court, a specialist neurological centre in Aberdeen. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals living with complex neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals, including manual handling, bathing, shaving, dressing, and toileting.
  • Issue and prompt tenants with medication, ensuring their security and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Support tenants with daily living tasks, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a homely environment.
  • Prepare and serve meals, taking into account individual needs and dietary requirements.
  • Escort and support tenants in the community, facilitating activities and outings.
  • Record and report on activities, ensuring accurate and timely communication with colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Experience in caring for individuals with complex neurological conditions.
  • SVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in care or a related field.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
