Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled School Nurse to join our team in Essex, providing high-quality nursing care to children and young people. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering the Healthy Child Programme and supporting families to achieve their best possible start in life.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver the Healthy Child Programme, assessing health needs and developing packages of care for children and young people.
- Work alongside SCPHN School Nurses and other multi-disciplinary teams to provide family support and improve health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Provide leadership and act as a positive role model, supporting colleagues and demonstrating excellent standards of care.
- Mentor pre-registration students and provide preceptorship to new staff members, promoting professional development and growth.
- Nursing or Midwifery qualification and experience working with children and young people.
- NMC Registered and passionate about ensuring children have the best possible start in life.
- Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages, and possessing a valid UK driving licence.
The salary for this position is £25,654 - £31,383 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including exclusive rewards and discounts, access to our Strive for Better networks, and a free wellbeing service available 24/7/365.
