The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Residential Children's Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading key areas such as health and safety, training, and supervision of staff. You will also oversee medication, create rotas, and ensure the well-being of children.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to children.
- Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of children.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with key professionals, families, and children to achieve the best outcomes.
- Motivate and support staff to reach their full potential.
Requirements
- Significant experience in residential childcare, preferably in a leadership role.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- Developing knowledge of childcare-related specialisms.
- Experience of working within internal policies and procedures, including statutory responsibilities.
