About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Physical Healthcare Team as a Senior Physical Healthcare Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality physical healthcare to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of a registered nurse, participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of high-quality care within a ward environment.
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary mental health team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in clinical supervision sessions to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with patients, families, and carers to promote patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Previous relevant experience working with people with mental health problems at a nursing assistant grade or equivalent within a health and social care setting.
  • Cavendish Care Certificate or willingness to work towards resourced by LPFT.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent.
  • NVQ level 3 in Promoting Independence or equivalent or working towards achievement.
  • Able to speak and write English to an appropriate standard to fulfill the job.
