Job Summary

This role is a core position within the company's risk division, provisioning and forecasting team. As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst - Impairment Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance and execution of the full suite of credit impairment models as well as DoD engines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the change process and execute the implementation of new models.
  • Collaborate with various risk sectors, including forecasting, portfolio management, and collections.
  • Develop and present materials, delivering results to governance forums and committees.
  • Engage with external auditors to ensure the smooth completion of audits.
  • Assist in internal audit activities and address internal validation points for closure.
  • Review and challenge the next generation credit risk provisioning models.
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation reflecting any model changes.
  • Contribute to the development of Management Information (MI) Analytics dashboards.

Requirements

  • Experience with building and running models in SAS or a similar software.
  • Strong understanding of risk management regulations and guidelines.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numerical degree from a reputable university.
