Position Overview:
As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst at Shell Energy, you will be instrumental in overseeing and mitigating credit risks associated with our operations. You will collaborate closely with the Commercial Team to ensure the ongoing viability and expansion of our enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess credit applications and deliver informed recommendations to decision-makers.
- Articulate credit risk policies and procedures to front office personnel.
- Engage in client discussions and work in tandem with credit stakeholders.
- Formulate and uphold credit policies that meet industry benchmarks.
- Oversee relationships with external credit evaluation and insurance providers.
- Track credit evaluations and assist front office teams in risk management strategies.
- Offer analytical insights to guide credit policy and strategic direction.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in credit risk management.
- Proficient in financial analysis and risk assessment methodologies.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Relevant degree or professional certification.
- Established professional connections within the financial and legal sectors.
