Property Department Head
Finders Keepers is a market leader in Oxfordshire, and we are looking for a Property Department Head to lead our Property Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team and ensuring that all legislative requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the Property Management team and ensure that they are working efficiently
- Coach, mentor, and train the team to improve their skills and knowledge
- Be the first point of contact for tenants and landlords and respond to all maintenance issues raised
- Prepare and check properties for tenancy starting and instruct contractors as needed
- Conduct check-ins, checkouts, and inspections, and complete administration following on-site appointments
- Ensure that rents are paid on time and work seamlessly with internal divisions and teams
- Spot and nurture new business opportunities and advise clients accordingly
- Deputise for the Office Manager when necessary
Requirements
- 2 years of property management experience
- Proven track record of managing people and teams
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently
- Good level of spelling and grammar, and good communication skills
- Detail-oriented and entrepreneurial with a positive can-do attitude
