About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at The Sterling Choice. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality systems, managing supplier quality, and supporting key quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and improve quality systems, manage supplier quality, and support key quality initiatives.
  2. Oversee internal, supplier, and co-manufacturing quality processes.
  3. Analyse data to drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  4. Mentor and manage Quality Coordinators and Product Testers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of packing materials, ISO 9000/22000 standards, and statistical analysis.
  • A data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of CI tools and commercial acumen.
  • Experience with Cape or similar palletising software (training provided).
