About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Chef to join our team at Caterplus, a leading catering services provider in the care sector. As a Relief Chef, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our catering team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage and support the catering team to deliver an efficient and high-quality service to our customers.
  • Maintain and control food stocks within budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and culinary excellence.
  • Ensure ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to enable operational excellence.
  • Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership ability and experience in senior chef management.
  • Genuine interest in customer service excellence and a strong team player.
  • Catering experience with chef skills, with contract catering experience being desirable.
