Electrical Engineering Director

Binnies, a RSK Company, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Director to lead the electrical discipline within the @One Alliance.
This role will provide technical direction to electrical engineers, ensuring designs meet current legislation and standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and checking electrical design deliverables, coaching junior engineers, and collaborating with project teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing regular reports to the Principal Engineer
- Collaborating with project teams to acquire project milestones and design review dates
- Ensuring quality, safety, and technical standards are met in electrical designs
- Coaching and mentoring junior engineers
- Reviewing construction site and supply chain design queries and change requests
- Liaising with other departments and project teams regarding design requirements
- Managing quality through design workflow reviews
- Supporting other leads and discipline engineers to deliver engineering outputs to time and quality standards
Requirements for this role include an engineering degree or equivalent, experience in the water sector, and Chartered status. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, integrity, and emotional intelligence, with the ability to mentor and coach junior engineers.
