About the Job


We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the UK. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the growth of our company.



Job Description


This position involves providing technical support and maintenance services for Atlas Copco's tooling and industrial assembly solutions across multiple industry sectors. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:



  • Performing pre-delivery testing and inspection of tools before delivery or site installation;
  • Installing and commissioning new tooling and industrial assembly solutions at customer locations;
  • Providing assistance for project delivery and working closely with Project Managers;
  • System integration and configuration of customer PLC interfaces to Atlas Copco tools;
  • Problem resolution and root cause analysis;
  • CUSTOMER TRAINING AND OPERATION GUIDANCE;
  • Supporting customer staff during pilot phases;
  • Determining and undertaking all necessary preventative maintenance on power tool products, Industrial Assembly Solutions products, and software solutions;
  • Managing the calibration, testing, and certification of all Atlas Copco power tool products;
  • Identifying and delivering sales opportunities (software/upgrades, optimization) for field service, working closely with our Service Sales Managers;
  • Frequent travel across the UK, occasional overnight stays, and overtime following customer and our requirements may be expected.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you should have:



  • A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification;
  • Prior experience in a Manufacturing Environment is desirable.


Benefits


We offer an attractive compensation package, including a salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as health insurance, paid leave, and retirement benefits.
