The HM Treasury is seeking talented and ambitious qualified accountants to join their team as part of a dynamic and diverse community. As a qualified accountant, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, making sure that taxpayer money is spent effectively and meaningfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial insight and analysis to support decision-making across the organisation.
  • Offer strategic financial advice about budgeting, planning, and helping partners navigate complex financial decisions.
  • Deliver core financial controls and provide technical accounting advice, maintaining the integrity of the organisation's financial statements.
  • Produce detailed financial reports and add new value to the numbers by providing insight and analysis, enabling you to support business decisions through accurate financial data.

About the Role:

As a qualified accountant, you will analyse complex financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic financial insight to support the organisation. You will be an excellent communicator, confident in explaining financial concepts clearly to key partners, providing technical accounting advice, and ensuring that finance is at the heart of government decision-making.
