About the Role

This leadership position reports to our Chief Commercial Officer and is situated within our Applied AI consultancy team. As the Business Unit Director, you will be responsible for leading the Consumer & Services Business domain and shaping the team, strategy, and client base to pursue high-impact opportunities in this space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive business growth and expansion in the Consumer Services division.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and identify opportunities for Faculty's expertise.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop and refine Faculty's Consumer Services offerings.
  • Lead strategic decision-making on market approach, including identifying new sectors for engagement.
  • Oversee a team of commercial individuals to deliver work that engages new clients and drives re-engagement from existing ones.
  • Hire and grow the team in line with market success.
  • Develop business development activities to raise Faculty's profile in relevant markets.
Requirements
  • Proven experience leading AI/Analytics teams or work programmes.
  • Experience driving adoption of AI in complex organisations.
  • Experience selling and leading high-value consulting engagements.
  • Experience building and empowering high-performance teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant sectors, including retail, FMCG, software, media, and consumer services.
  • Passion for evangelising the application of AI to consumer and retail industries.
