Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, individualized care to a young adult in their own home. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the individual's ventilation, suctioning, PEG feeding, medication, and overall nursing needs.
The District Nurse Team will oversee the care plan, and we offer comprehensive support and training to ensure the candidate's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 overnight care to a young adult with complex needs
- Manage ventilation, suctioning, PEG feeding, and medication
- Collaborate with the District Nurse Team to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Experience in ventilation care and PEG feeding
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
NHS Scotland is committed to reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff.
