Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and committed Senior Lecturer to join our academic team in Primary Care. The successful candidate will provide high-quality academic input in relation to the planning, teaching, assessing and evaluation of programmes of study at postgraduate level.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic input in the planning, teaching, assessing and evaluation of programmes of study at postgraduate level.
  • Contribute to our continuing professional development portfolio.
  • Take on Module Leadership.

Requirements:

  • Experience of teaching and supporting SCPHN students.
  • Knowledge of current NMC requirements and standards of proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • NMC registered nurse and NMC registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse in either health visiting or school nursing.
  • Hold an honours degree in a relevant subject.
  • Hold a master's degree or a Level 7 qualification such as a Post Graduate Diploma.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards this.
