Job Title: Clinical Director for Mental Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director for Mental Health to join our team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing our physiotherapy services for adults with intellectual disabilities, ensuring that we provide high-quality, patient-centered care that meets the needs of our patients and their families.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the physiotherapy team, providing clinical leadership and guidance to ensure that we deliver excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, working closely with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure that our services are effective and efficient.
  • Manage budgets and resources, ensuring that we make the most of our resources and deliver value for money.
  • Collaborate with other teams and services to ensure that our physiotherapy services are integrated with other healthcare services and that we are providing seamless care to our patients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other healthcare professionals, stakeholders, and partners to ensure that we are working effectively together to deliver excellent patient care.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of leading and managing a physiotherapy team, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge, with a strong understanding of physiotherapy practice and the needs of adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with other healthcare professionals, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources, with a strong understanding of financial management and governance.
