Local Booking Coordinator Role

We're Sofar Sounds, a global music community that brings people together in unexpected spaces. As a Local Booking Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting our host and artist community in Newcastle.

Your primary focus will be finding and securing venues and hosts in your city. You'll work with our Regional team to manage on-the-ground and day-of-show logistics, ensuring that artists have a successful performance and magical experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Source and secure venues and hosts in your city
  • Conduct regular venue site visits
  • Act as main point of contact for on-the-ground artist logistics
  • Work with our Artist Development team to curate compelling lineups
  • Extend offers to local artists and manage communications regarding artist scheduling and booking
  • Update and maintain artist records
  • Review incoming artist applications and discover emerging talent

We're looking for existing Sofar Crew who bring a passion for supporting local musicians and bringing people together. If you have a track record of work supporting and booking venues and artists, we'd love to hear from you.
