We're Sofar Sounds, a global music community that brings people together in unexpected spaces. As a Local Booking Lead, you'll play a crucial role in discovering and showcasing local talent, creating unforgettable live music experiences that connect us all.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our Innovation work and pilot a new role that will encourage local connections with our host and artist community. As a Local Booking Lead, you'll be responsible for finding and securing venues and hosts in your city, working with our Regional team to manage on-the-ground logistics, and scouting new talent in your local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and secure venues and hosts in your city
  • Conduct regular venue site visits
  • Act as main point of contact for on-the-ground artist logistics
  • Work with our Regional Artist Development team to curate compelling lineups
  • Extend offers to local artists and manage communications regarding artist scheduling and booking
  • Update and maintain artist records
  • Review incoming artist applications and discover emerging talent

What We're Looking For

We're seeking existing Sofar Crew members who bring a track record of work supporting and booking venues and artists, with 2+ years of experience in a similar role. You'll need to have an eye for a great space that could host a Sofar show, a driving passion to support local musicians, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a diverse team.
