Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the menu, promotions, and restaurant layout to provide informed and personalized service.
  • Assume ownership of the floor, demonstrating a proactive and dedicated approach to duties, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant operations.
  • Provide assistance at the bar, supporting the team in maintaining high cleaning standards and creating a flexible working environment.
  • Welcoming guests with a warm smile, setting the tone for their visit, and ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Provide feedback to managers regarding guest comments, positive or negative, to enhance overall service quality.
  • Adhere to Bill's Allergy procedures and legislation guidelines, ensuring the safety of guests with allergies and dietary requirements.
  • Stay informed of company and restaurant-specific updates, attending meetings or utilizing other communication channels.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all front-of-house areas, including regular checks on guest toilets, to present the restaurant in its best possible light.
  • Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and adherence to correct procedures and operating systems, incorporating safe working practices into daily responsibilities.
  • Actively put health and safety guidelines into practice, demonstrating a strict commitment to prioritizing the well-being of oneself and others in the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow, ensuring effective communication and cooperation.
  • Monitor food and drinks timings and specifications, promptly notifying managers of any potential issues or concerns.
  • Take responsibility for completing all mandatory and job-specific training to perform tasks safely and correctly, engaging proactively in continuous learning to enhance job knowledge and contribute to a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Prioritize guest service at all times, following guest service steps, and maintaining a positive attitude with a friendly smile.
  • Maintain efficiency by completing all opening and closing duties for the restaurant meticulously, ensuring a smooth start and end to each day's operations.
