We strive to create a global, turn-key solution that systematises how data from genomic sequencing is processed, analysing a broad range of pathogens and delivering solutions to laboratories, hospitals, and public health organisations worldwide.
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our EIT Pathogena team. As a QA Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our genomic analysis platform. You will collaborate closely with other members of the EIT Pathogen Programme team, as well as external third parties, to support the testing and validation processes of our Pathogena product.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting in the testing and validation of pathogen data analysis pipelines
- Supporting the QA team in ensuring that testing processes are efficient and scalable
- Contributing to manual and automated testing efforts with senior team members
- Documenting test cases and tracking defects
- Participating in the testing of cloud deployment to ensure reliability and performance
- Collaborating on continuous improvements to the testing process
- A strong interest in quality assurance and testing processes
- Familiarity with basic testing methodologies (manual and automated testing)
- An understanding of software development processes
- Experience working in a cloud-based environment (such as AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud)
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team
- Competitive salary banding between £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience

Eligible to work in the UK with a willingness to travel as necessary. Based in, or within easy commuting distance of, Oxford. During peak periods, some longer hours may be required and some working across multiple time zones due to the global nature of the programme.
