Ackerman Pierce Ltd, a reputable organization in the field of social care, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Head of Service - Children Services in the Midlands area. This role is a critical appointment, and we are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual to lead our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of professionals in the Children Services department, overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality services to meet the needs of our clients. This will involve developing and implementing strategic plans, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in social care, a proven track record of success in managing teams, and excellent communication and leadership skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, think critically, and make informed decisions that align with the organization's goals and values.

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. The salary range is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of responsibility, skills, and experience required for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • SWE Registration
  • 5 years' post-qualifying experience in the UK social care industry
  • Managerial experience

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
