Job Title: Community Liaison Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Liaison Officer to join our team at the Transformation Unit. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Hepatitis C Elimination program in Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire.

Job Overview

The Community Liaison Officer will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide blood-borne virus testing, advice, clinical assessments, and treatment to clients in the community. The role requires travel to community settings across Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire, and the successful candidate will need to have access to a vehicle and a full and clean driving license.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide blood-borne virus testing and advice to clients in the community
  • Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical assessments and treatment to clients
  • Travel to community settings across Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire to deliver services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our Hepatitis C Elimination program
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in a community or healthcare setting
  • Experience working with Hepatitis C and other blood-borne viruses
  • Full and clean driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet service needs
