About the Role:

\

We are seeking an experienced Building Construction Project Engineer to join our team in Aylesbury. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Communicating effectively with site management, technical specialists, commercial staff, planners, engineers, supervisory staff operatives, suppliers, third parties and client representatives.\
  3. Maintaining project safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.\
  4. Driving quality delivery through effective planning and right first-time delivery.\
  5. Supervising and mentoring assistant, trainee engineering and technician staff.\
  6. Monitoring and recording delivery against the agreed programme and construction methods.\
  7. Ensuring drawings and specification documents contain sufficient, accurate information for construction of the works before commencement.\
  8. Confirming verbal instructions received from clients or designers in writing.\
  9. Implementing Inspection and Test Plans and checklists at appropriate stages.\
  10. Maintaining daily diary records and ensuring they are kept by others under your supervision.\
  11. Developing written risk assessments and activity plans/method statements prior to works commencing.\
  12. Conducting testing / sampling of materials as required by the specification.\
  13. Contributing to monthly and quarterly commercial forecasts and reporting for your section of works.\
  14. Ensuring material delivery tickets are passed to the section engineer for cost coding.\
  15. Carrying out testing / sampling of materials as required by the specification.\
  16. Maintaining comprehensive records of resources employed on additional works and submitting them for signature within 24 hours.\

Requirements:

  2. Prior experience of working with setting-out structures and civil engineering/building construction.\
  3. Demonstrated expertise in Civil Engineering.\

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
