We are a joint venture of international, market leading expertise in civil engineering and construction. Our team brings together specialist knowledge in railway networks, including high speed rail projects.

This role requires a Senior Construction Coordinator with extensive experience in structures or highways to join our team in the Greatworth area. The successful candidate will assist in developing the construction strategy, which includes project planning, procurement, and design deliverable schedules.

As a key member of the site engineering team, the Senior Construction Coordinator will manage labour, plant, materials, and temporary works to ensure construction activities meet required standards, programme, and budget. This involves liaising with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate resources effectively.

The position also entails managing the site engineering team and being responsible for the performance and development of site and Section Engineers. Coordinating construction operations to conform to contract requirements and maintaining a high level of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) is crucial.

This role assists in producing programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contributes to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations, and cost control.

Key Qualifications:

  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
  • Mandatory CSCS Requirement (one of the following) - Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow or Red Experienced.
  • Mandatory SMSTS
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
  • Must have experience working in either structures or highways.
  • Previous experience in quality assurance and geotechnical management is preferred.
  • Good team skills.

$62,000 - $72,000 per annum, depending on experience.
