Main Duties of the Job

The role involves training parents, family members, carers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory management plans, including chest physiotherapy techniques, positioning, and suction. You will also develop an online training programme with established training materials, supported by the team.

About the Role

You will assess and treat respiratory inpatients and outpatients, including those with recurrent chest infections, long-term conditions such as cystic fibrosis/bronchiectasis, and patients with multiple and complex care needs, such as cerebral palsy. The post holder will also have responsibility for a therapy student.
