Senior Physiotherapist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Surgical Therapy team at Aintree University Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating complex patients with multiple co-morbidities following surgery.
Main Duties
- Provide clinical assessment and treatment for complex Surgical patients, including rehabilitation and respiratory components of care.
- Support the delivery of training and development of junior members of staff to develop clinical skills.
- Contribute to the operational management of the Team, under the supervision of a Band 7 Physiotherapist.
- Be responsible for the supervision of Junior staff, Students and Assistants on a daily basis.
- Be responsible for organising and planning own caseload to meet service and patient priorities.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- HCPC registration.
- Demonstrable post-registration experience.
- Majority of clinical experience in the NHS UK.
- Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of a contribution to clinical education / supervision of less experienced staff, students or assistants.
