About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Craftsperson to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mechanical and electrical systems across our healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, including boilers, steam systems, and medical gases.
- Support the site operational management staff with day-to-day operational engineering maintenance.
- Participate in an on-call rota and be available to undertake overtime when required.
Requirements
- HNC or HND or equivalent experience plus completion of a time-served apprenticeship.
- Good working knowledge of associated trades, electrical and gas.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
