Job Title: FTTH Engineer

Job Summary:

Comex 2000 UK Ltd is seeking a skilled FTTH Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fibre broadband services to residential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain FTTH broadband services to residential premises, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work at heights up to 15 metres, including working on telegraph poles and ladders, while adhering to Health and Safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct self-audits to ensure work meets company and client standards, maintaining a clean and tidy environment at all times.
  • Work in all weather conditions, adapting to changing circumstances and prioritizing tasks accordingly.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license is essential, with a minimum of 1 year's experience and a maximum of 6 points.
  • Desirable qualifications include experience working on the BT Openreach network and NRSWA Street Works qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to liaise with team managers and resolve engineering obstacles.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Flexibility to work outside of core hours, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including devices and apps, to support work activities.
