About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Place Shaping service. As Head of Place Shaping, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality places throughout Westminster, working collaboratively with members, residents, services, partners, and stakeholders to drive positive place-based change.

You will adopt a strategic place-based approach to develop and deliver positive outcomes for residents, businesses, and visitors to the city, maximising the potential of public assets in areas facing growth, challenge, or change.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a service dedicated to creating and delivering high-quality places throughout Westminster
  • Developing and delivering place-based programmes of change, working collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Adopting a strategic place-based approach to develop and deliver positive outcomes for residents, businesses, and visitors
  • Maximising the potential of public assets in areas facing growth, challenge, or change

We are looking for a motivated and inspirational communicator who can translate strategic objectives into operational plans and inspire, motivate, coach, and develop team members to high levels of performance.
