We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Package Engineer to join our team at Sir Robert McAlpine. As a Package Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, coordination, and management of sub-contractors employed in various trades within the project area.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage sub-contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks and high-quality workmanship.
- Interface with internal departments and external agencies, including architects, engineers, construction workers, and client agents.
- Ensure SRM obligations to sub-contractors are understood and discharged.
- Organize and conduct regular site progress meetings with sub-contractors to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Degree qualified in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in package management.
- Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Professional membership in a construction industry-related organization (e.g., ICE, CIOB, RICS).
